Permanent jewelry disclaimer

About the word “permanent”
Our permanent jewelry is designed for long-term, everyday wear. Here, “permanent” simply means the piece is welded closed without a traditional clasp — it does not mean the jewelry is indestructible. With normal wear, chains can stretch, snag, or break over time.
The welding process
We use a precision pulse-arc micro-welder that creates a quick spark to join the metal. A protective barrier keeps your skin away from the heat and spark, and the process takes just a second — it touches only the metal, never you. By getting a piece welded, you accept the inherent nature of the process.
Allergies & skin sensitivities
We weld with solid gold, gold vermeil and gold-filled, sterling silver, and stainless steel — quality metals that suit most people. That said, I Shine Forever is not responsible for skin reactions, allergies, or sensitivities. If you have a known history of metal allergies, please let me know before we weld and consult a physician if you're unsure.
Pacemakers & medical implants
Our welder uses a pulse-arc system. If you have a pacemaker or any sensitive electronic medical implant, please check with your doctor before sitting close to the welding equipment.
MRIs & medical procedures
Permanent jewelry may need to come off for an MRI, surgery, or certain medical procedures. To remove it, snip the small jump ring at the weld point with scissors or clippers. Bring it back and I'll re-weld it for you — one complimentary re-weld is included if it's removed for a verified medical reason.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I Shine Forever shall not be liable for lost, damaged, or broken jewelry, skin irritation, or damage caused by external force, chemicals (such as chlorine), or normal wear and tear once you leave the chair.
Minors
Permanent jewelry is not recommended for children under 14. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be asked to provide consent.
