Roar Offshore is back, September 11 to 13.
Offshore powerboat racing returns to Fort Myers Beach for the first time in five years, and Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach is the presenting sponsor. The race village and the boat paddocks fill the lots around the resort, which puts the whole weekend right at our front door.
We are open all three days, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., on the Sunset Terrace. Walk up between heats and we will fit and weld your piece in a few minutes. No appointment needed.
- Friday, Sept 11 Official practice late morning, qualifying in the early afternoon, and the kickoff party that evening at the resort's License to Chill Theatre.
- Saturday, Sept 12 Heat racing from midday, the pit party at the resort, then the boat show and car show in Times Square that evening.
- Sunday, Sept 13 Morning warm-up, the Super Stock championship race in the early afternoon, and the awards ceremony to follow.
